  • Does the painting need framing?
    The painting needs no framing. Since all sides of the painting are painted, the work can be hung straight away. I therefore do not offer framing. Of course the works can be framed by the buyer. (If desired, I can send the work directly to the address where the work will be framed. Accordingly, please let me know the address before shipping.)
  • I would like to give a painting as a present...
    That's a beautiful idea for a unique gift! If you want, you can send me a short text for a card, which I will then add to the painting. If you are not sure which painting really suits for the person, you can ask me for a voucher. You can suggest a picture or name a budget without obligation. I will send you an invoice and after payment you will receive a PDF file to print out.
  • What about color accuracy?
    Each painting is unique and was photographed by me in well-lit conditions. If there are color deviations from the photo when unpacking, this may be due, for example, to the color settings of your monitor or cell phone or the room lighting. Since my artworks are most quite vivid and contain many color tones, color accuracy is usually not a problem.
  • How to hang the artwork ?
    A simple and safe way of hanging is to drill two screws into the wall at the same height to hang the picture over these two screws.The screws should not protrude more than 1.2" from the wall.
  • What is about shipping?
    There are no additional shipping costs worldwide. The shipping is worldwide, provided the applicable regulations or laws allow this. A small painting is packed in a reinforced cardboard box and a big painting is packed in a wooden crate. The information required for shipping is the full address, telephone number and email address.The shipping will usually be handled by DHL Express. ​ Important Information on shipping to countries outside the European Union: International shipments may be subject to duties, taxes and other charges not included in the total price. I have years of experience in international shipping, now in more than 35 countries around the world. Over 90% of the paintings are delivered after 10 days after payment.
  • Can I track my purchase?
    Yes, you can track your order with a tracking link. You will get the tracking data by email from a third-party provider.
  • What about taxes, customs duties and the fees for them?
    In some cases, the shipping company - most often DHL Express - may ask you to pay import fees into your country. Additional personal information may also be required for customs clearance, e.g. your identity number. The amount of taxes and customs duties is different in each country and is borne by the importer - i.e. the buyer. If taxes apply, a reduced tax rate may be claimed in some countries as this is a handmade, unique work of art. A corresponding product description is included in the shipping documents.
  • In case of return
    I strive to ensure that all customers are 100% happy with their purchase, but if for any reason you are not satisfied with your new painting, you can return it and get a full refund. You have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason for up to fourteen days from the date that you received the shipment. If you do have a problem please contact me as soon as possible (Peter Nottrott, Twedter Mark 77, 24944 Flensburg / Germany; Tel. +49 461-140506, Mail: nottrott@nottrott.de). If you decide to return an item, you will need to confirm it in writing, either by email or post. Please note that refunds cannot be given after the fourteen day notice period. Upon cancellation I will reimburse all payments I have received from you, after I received the returned goods . For refunds, I use the bank transfer or paypal as method of payment. Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the buyer and all items must be returned in the condition in which they were received. Please note the shipping cost and fees for the return has to be paid by the buyer.
